Congressman Tom Tancredo will be making an appearance at Keene’s annual Pumpkin Festival Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Pumpkin Festival has been a staple in Keene since 1991, when 600 lit pumpkins lined the downtown area. Since then, Keene has set the world record for most jack-o’-lanterns eight times, the most recent coming in 2003, with 28,952 pumpkins.
