Tommy Thompson, who ran for president just long enough to get his name known, has endorsed Rudy Giuliani for president.
The four-term Wisconsin governor will become the national co-chairman of the Giuliani campaign.
Thompson released a statement through the campaign:
“Rudy Giuliani has shown that he is a true leader. He is America’s mayor and during a period of time of great stress for this country he showed tremendous leadership,” Thompson said. “He can and will win the nomination and the presidency of the United States.”
