Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will “go green” in the Granite State this weekend.
The Republican presidential candidate will speak at the global warming and energy solutions conference in Manchester on Saturday afternoon, and then attend a meet and greet at a 21st Century Demonstration GREEN home in Loudon.
On Sunday morning, Huckabee will answer questions at the home of state Rep. Jason Bedrick, R-Windham. Bedrick has endorsed Huckabee for president, saying he thinks he is the best man for the job.
“What really sold me was when I first met him and heard him answer questions without any rhetoric,” Bedrick said. “I’m hoping people bring some really good, tough questions, and I think they’ll be pleasantly surprised to hear a presidential candidate be so honest.”
Huckabee will be at Bedrick’s Windham home at 10 a.m. For directions or to RSVP, contact Debra Vanderbeek at 603-986-9145.
