Sen. Hillary Clinton outpaced her main Democratic rival, Sen. Barack Obama, in fundraising in the last quarter.
Campaigns were required to file their third-quarter earnings with the Federal Election Commission by Oct. 1.
Obama still holds the lead in money raised for the primary this year, although he trails in New Hampshire and national polls.
Clinton, of New York, raised $22 million for the presidential primary this summer. Obama, of Illinois, raised $19 million for the primary over the same period.
Obama leads with money raised for the primary, though, with $75 million raised for the primary this year and $4 million raised for the General Election.
Clinton has raised $62 million for the primary, as well as nearly $18 million for the General Election.
The Clinton campaign also attracted more donors in the last quarter than the Obama campaign, which has led in number of donors each previous quarter.
The Clinton campaign attracted some 100,000 donors last quarter, according to internal counts. Obama’s campaign attracted 93,000 donors over the same period, his campaign reported.
