New Mexico governor Bill Richardson is hoping his new campaign ad, set to begin airing this week, will help further establish him as one of the top tier Democratic presidential candidates.
The new ad features “prominent bloggers” who support his position on the Iraq war, which calls for withdrawing all U.S. troops immediately, Richardson said during a conference call with New Hampshire press.
Unlike the other Democrats, Richardson said he is the only candidate who would pull out all of the troops and not leave any behind.
Before Wednesday’s debate at Dartmouth, Richardson said he was eager to press the other candidates on their Iraq strategies.
“Why is it the other candidates want to leave 75,000 troops behind. What is their mission?” he asked.
