Solid Gold, Jewel-Encrusted Diaper Disposal System Presented to Prince William and Kate Middleton in Anticipation of Royal Family
NORTH HILLS, Calif. (April 1, 2011) Munchkin, Inc., designer and manufacturer of clever infant and toddler products, today announced the introduction of the world’s first luxury diaper disposal system, The Royal Diaper Pail™ by Munchkin. Cast from solid gold and studded with more than 5,000 rubies, sapphires, and diamonds, this first-of-its-kind product neutralizes diaper odors through a patented system that includes a salaried, 24-hour nursery attendant to help parents change their baby’s diapers. The company presented the first production model – truly fit for a king – to the royal couple in advance of their April 29 nuptials, in anticipation of the nappies of future royal offspring.
“At Munchkin, we’re dedicated to ridding the world of tired and mundane products by developing clever, innovative solutions that excite and delight families and help make parents’ lives easier,” said Steven Dunn, Chairman and CEO of Munchkin. “Not only does The Royal Diaper Pail by Munchkin offer advanced odor control, it is the must-have accessory for parents looking to add the ’wow’ factor to their own little prince or princess’ nursery.”
From its solid 24-karat gold outer shell to the 20,000 sparkling carats in the 5,000 precious stones, The Royal Diaper Pail by Munchkin will amaze parents from the moment it is hand-delivered to their home via white glove service, courtesy of Munchkin, Inc.. Timed in conjunction with baby’s arrival, parents will select a nursery attendant from Munchkin’s catalog of pre-screened child rearing professionals to begin diaper changing duty immediately. As part of the royal treatment, Munchkin will provide salary and accommodations for the nursery attendant for two years from the date of nanny selection.
The Royal Diaper Pail by Munchkin is available by custom order online at www.diaperpail.com and retails for $1,000,000.00.
To commemorate the launch of the new pail, Munchkin will be giving away free samples of its existing Arm & Hammer™ Diaper Pail on its Facebook page throughout the day on Friday, April 1. Go to http://www.facebook.com/MunchkinInc for more information.

Queensryche celebrates 30 years of complex thoughtful metal!
Although they were initially grouped in with the legions of pop-metal bands that dominated the American heavy metal scene of the ’80s, Queensrÿche were one of the most distinctive bands of the era. Where their contemporaries built on the legacy of Van Halen, Aerosmith, and Kiss, Queensrÿche constructed a progressive form of heavy metal that drew equally from the guitar pyrotechnics of post-Van Halen metal and ’70s art rock, most notably Pink Floyd and Queen. The band began to break into the mainstream with the acclaimed 1988 album Operation: Mindcrime. Its follow-up, Empire, was the group’s biggest success, selling over two million copies due to the hit single “Silent Lucidity.” Queensrÿche has retained a large cult following ever since.

According to Mark Wahlberg, there could be a sequel to the Oscar-nominated film based on the life and times of local legend Micky Ward.
To refresh your memory about the film, newly available on DVD, it stars Wahlberg and Oscar winners Christian Bale and Melissa Leo. It follows the ups and downs of Ward’s life amongst his colorful family during his boxing career.
What would a sequel entail? It’s too early to tell, but it might focus on Ward’s famous fights with Arturo Gatti.
Who would be back? Depending on schedules, possibly the whole cast. (More Oscars anyone?)

If “No Ordinary Family” — his current show — doesn’t get renewed for a second season, fear not, fans of this talented Andover actor.
Chiklis has been cast in a CBS pilot for “Vince Uncensored.” It comes from Warner Bros. TV and is produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco.
It’s about a man who has a near death experience — and thus decides to lead a more authentic life. Because it’s a half-hour sitcom, I’m guessing it will be pretty funny.

Lady Antebellum
Need You Now Tour
The ‘Brook welcomes the Grammy winners of the year!
Five years ago, Lady Antebellum formed in Nashville, Tenn. Since their debut in 2007, the Country trio have taken the music industry by storm releasing a stream of top hits, including “Love Don’t Live Here,” “I Run to You,” “Need You Now,” “American Honey” and “Our Kind of Love.” Each year the group receives at least one music award, but 2010 produced even more! Last year they won 15 awards and were nominated for another 17. 2011 is shaping up to be much of the same for Lady A. They have already swept the Grammy Awards with 6 nominations and 5 wins and have been nominated 10 times for 3 different award shows.
At this year’s Grammy’s, Hillary Scott was asked how the band felt about their success. She answered, “I think humbled is the first word to come to mind. Last year for us was the best year of our lives, and then to hear the nominations, and be here tonight, we just have so much to be thankful for. I think more than anything this is just inspiring us to work harder and to try to create better music!”
