Life is good and Superfly Presents will bring a major music festival to Greater Boston on September 11-12, 2010.
The festival, to be held at Prowse Farm in Canton, combines world-class headliners, popular developing bands and the top children’s artists working today.
With a wide range of entertainment options including games, interactive art activities and a nationally-known circus company, this one-of-a-kind festival aims to raise major awareness and funds for kids facing life-threatening challenges through the Life is good Kids Foundation.
The 2010 Life is good Festival at Blue Hills will feature national headlining artists Jason Mraz, Ben Harper & Relentless 7, Guster, Corinne Bailey Rae, Ziggy Marley, and many others.
Top children’s artists The Laurie Berkner Band, and Dan Zanes and Friends will be joined by a unique “Circus To Go!” performance by Big Apple Circus and other performers. A full schedule is attached.
Other highlights of the festival include:
Art For All Mural, a community art project comprised of 1,500 tiles each painted by a separate festival attendee.
The Good Kids and Good Move Zones featuring Face Painting, an Instrument Petting Zoo, Arts and Crafts , Parachute Play , Batting Cages, and much more
9/11 Giving Tent, where attendees and Life is good volunteers will assemble care packages for U.S. troops stationed overseas on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Hall of Famer and Red Sox legend Jim Rice stops by for autographs and photos on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
