For those of you who follow the career of former Andover High teacher Richard Farrell, here’s a new tidbit of information.
His memoir, “What’s Left of Us” is being made into a movie starring Dear John’s Channing Tatum, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The book is about the seven days Farrell spent in a rehab and addresses the ins and outs of his former heroin addiction.
Farrell, who directed the documentary “High on Crack Street: Lost Lives in Lowell,” will adapt the script for the film. Check out my previous story about Farrell and his book here, which talks about his book as well as his connection to the upcoming film, “The Fighter” recently shot in Lowell with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale.
