Andovers Michael Chiklis — former star of The Commish, The Shield and the Fantastic Four movies — has a new show on the fall schedule.
ABC announced yesterday that it would pick up his series, “No Ordinary Family,” co-staring Dexter’s Julie Benz. The show is about a family of superheroes.
Chiklis took to his Facebook page, thanking Disney/ABC and saying, “Thanks everyone for the well wishes! This is very exciting. I’m thrilled at the response to the pilot thus far. It is entirely different from the Shield. This is one of those rare shows that just about anyone can get into because it’s fun, warm, charming and very entertaining. I look forward to making a show that is truly meant for everyone to enjoy.”
