If you were hoping to head up to Vancouver this year, but just didn’t have the time to rub elbows with your favorite athletes, do not fear. Visit Foxwoods Casino and watch Olympic Medalists ice skate March 18 -21 on “Thin Ice” at the MGM Grand.

WHAT: “Thin Ice” is a live, televised figure skating reality competition that will originate from the Premier Ballroom of MGM Grand at Foxwoods. The contest will consist of four days of heated competition, two of which will be broadcast live on ABC. Hosted by Emmy Award-winning co-host of The View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Kurt Browning, four-time world champion Canadian figure skater, this exciting event will also feature ice skating legends Katarina Witt, Kristi Yamaguchi and Dick Button as judges. Joannie Rochette will also appear, skating a special tribute routine to her mother on Friday night.

In total, 10 competitors will come from four skating disciplines, ladies, men, pairs and dance, and the competitors will be paired as five couples. No pairs or dance skaters will be coupled with his or her current partner. Skating programs will be limited to two minutes.

WHO: Featured skating pairs include: Stephane Lambiel & Shizuka Arakawa, David Pelletier & Elena Berezhnaya, Patrice Lauzon & Jamie Sale’, John Zimmerman & Shae-Lynn Bourne, and Michael Weiss & Marie-France Dubreuil.

Thursday, March 18, 6:30 p.m.
Friday, March 19,  1:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 20, 1:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 21, 12:30 and 6:30 p.m.

* Competitions on Friday, March 19 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, March 21 at 7 p.m. will be televised live in prime-time on the ABC Television Network. Duration of each broadcast is 60 minutes.
