Hello Pop! readers,
Thus far this blog has kept you updated on theater, music and even local bar events, but now, hold on to your hats, or better yet your dancing shoes, as I attempt to become more cultured, and learn how to dance from the professionals at Studio 665 in Woburn, Mass.
As your ever faithful reporter, I will attempt to bring our Pop! readers some great dance steps, or more accurately, I will narrate my attempt at learning Latin dance steps, and direct Pop! readers to the nearest instructor. Be prepared for a few laughs because dancing and I are like oil and water.
Come Tuesday, after my first lesson, I can only hope to be the salsa-dancing, smooth-moving woman cutting up the dance floor with people looking on in awe; it’s more like people will be looking on in sheer horror, but a girl can dream, can’t she?
Stay tuned, for a few laughs, a few photos and hopefully a video or two while I try to find my rhythm, with an instructor who certainly has his work cut out for him!
