The competition begins at noon in the Town Square, where area restaurants will bring their chowders for judging.  Admission for those who wish to sample the chowders is $5.50 and includes sample-sized tastes of each chowder, a beverage, and a ballot to vote for the best entries.

A free outdoor concert in the gazebo accompanies this event from noon to 3 p.m.

A special package deal is available for the weekend with two nights lodging, tickets to the Chowderfest, one Chowderfest souvenir, and Summer Unlimited activities for $55 per person, per night based on quad-occupancy.
