Live Lawrence!, a summer-long series of free concerts, starts its fourth season on Wednesday, July 8, with the first of eight lunch hour concerts on Appleton Way in downtown Lawrence. The concerts take place at the Farmers Market on Appleton Way between Essex and Common streets from 1 – 2 p.m. Dale Reynolds, an energetic local guitarist and vocalist specializing in acoustic, alternative and folk music is scheduled to perform on July 8th.
Live Lawrence!, a citywide partnership designed to draw attention to local arts and culture, and stimulate economic growth in Lawrence. The partners in Live Lawrence! are: City of Lawrence Community Development, Cambridge College, Northern Essex Community College, Lawrence Heritage State Park, Essex Art Center, Groundwork Lawrence, Lawrence Community Works and the Lawrence History Center. Live Lawrence! is made possible by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and additional donations
