Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale will be in Lowell this summer shooting: “The Fighter.” The bio-pic is about Lowell boxer Mickey Ward (Wahlberg) and his brother Dick Eklund (Bale).
The movie makers will be casting for the film this weekend. Boston Casting is looking for boxers in their 20s and 30s, trainers, women with blonde or red hair in their 20s or 30s, and Greater Lowell residents over 18.
Bring your head shot and bio to the VFW, 190 Plain St., Lowell between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
