There’s a lot to like about Lowell — even more so this summer, when Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale come to town to film “The Fighter” in July.
The film is a biopic about Lowell boxer Mickey Ward. My sources — aka colleagues in the know — tell me that Ward also has several connections to this side of the Valley, including some in laws in Andover.
According to this story in the Sun, the film will not only shoot in the Mill City, but might also make it’s way to Lawrence — The Immigrant City. Where? No word yet.
