Don’t have tickets to the first Red Sox vs. Yankees game of the season? Here’s your chance to watch the game from Boston’s hottest new venue, House of Blues.
Located at 15 Lansdowne Street, House of Blues will open up its celebrated music hall for a viewing party of the Red Sox – Yankees game on Friday, April 24, 2009. The game will be shown on a large screen set up specifically for the game. Doors to the Music Hall will open at 5:00 p.m. and remain open for one hour after the game’s end. Capacity in the music hall is 2400 and there is no cover charge for the viewing party.
The House of Blues restaurant will be open throughout the duration of the game, featuring Southern Delta cuisine, including New Orleans Style Chicken Gumbo, Jambalaya, Voodoo Shrimp, Tennessee-style baby-back ribs, and much more. In addition, ball-park style food, including pizza, chicken wings and hot dogs, will be available for purchase in the Music Hall.
