Another week has gone by, and once again, it’s time for us to weigh in on who we think is going to get sent home on American Idol.

This week’s theme was Movie theme songs, but when I looked through the titles I was hard pressed to figure out what movies these songs came from. Am I alone in not knowing what movie “To Really Love a Woman” by Bryan Adams, and “The Rose” by Bette Midler come from?

Anyway, this week we changed up our pick rules to a free-for-all format.  Everyone could pick whoever they pleased.  Here are our choices:

Jo-Anne MacKenzie (New Hampshire Editor): Dan(ny) -  I thought this week’s performance was particularly bad - all around the Idol block. Picking the worst of the really bad is tough and no results would surprise me. That said, I don;t like sharing my vote and since Eric grabbed Matt early, I went with Danny. If you’re 28, it’s probably time to drop the -ny and stick with Dan. The harp was a real killer.

Marc Fortier (Sunday Editor): Matt - Nothing too complicated this week. I picked Matt Giraud because I read the judges weren’t too thrilled with his performance on Tuesday. Plus, he seems the most generic of all of the remaining contestants.

Jarret Bencks (Reporter and the Postmaster): Anoop -  I decided to make my pick based on which ever contestant sings a Bryan Adams song.  Unfortunately, not one but TWO people sang songs made famous by Mr. Adams.  So I flipped a coin, and Anoop got the axe.

Eric Parry (Reporter): Matt - I just never really loved Matt’s performance.  It was a boring performance of a song that I’ve never really liked.

Emily Moffett (The Intern): Anoop - I’ve been rooting for Anoop to be booted since the first time I head him sing, three weeks ago. His voice just doesn’t seem idol material to me. And I’m still not OK with his decision to be a Hip Hop artist. You’re trying too hard, Anoop. Just let it go. Please.

Rebecca Correa (Former Reporter): Pick not yet submitted

Meghan Carey (Former Reporter, American Idol enthusiast): Lil

Jim Kimble (Reporter): Danny - I know a loser when I see one.
