My first thought after leaving “Spring Awakening” was — how cool is it that this show came to Boston in the spring? When trees and flowers are just beginning to show signs of life?
My second thought — what the heck can I say about this show on my family-oriented Web site/ blog?

Sorry I didn’t post sooner, I went to see “Spring Awakening” tonight (Wednesday).
Only had one chatter on Tuesday, so didn’t feel like I was throwing a wrench into anyone’s plans.
If you did miss my witty banter (hey, I try) I will be slaving away at my computer next week during both Idol shows, promise.
From one of my favorite shops, Kiehl’s has this to offer for Mother’s Day:
This Mother’s Day, why not offer Mom a bouquet of long-lasting floral FRAGRANCES? Kiehl’s has added six more of Kiehl’s classic essences to our Portable Essence Oils, re-introducing Kiehl’s patrons to some of the original essences once formulated in the original Kiehl’s [...]

Our Haverhill hero wrote an awesome Op-Ed piece for the NYT about the British singing sensation, Susan Boyle.
For those of you who don’t know Boyle, she recently wowed crowds on “Britain’s Got Talent.” While she isn’t the youngest or cutest contestant her singing talent is undeniable.
Bergeron, as host of “Dancing With The Stars” offers Boyle [...]
Readers if you missed it, here’s my story about World Champion Irish stepdancer, Scott Doherty of Lawrence.
He, and his equally talented older brother, Brian, will be back in the area soon with “Lord of the Dance” in April and May. (See my story for details)
If you haven’t seen these two dance, I would highly recommend [...]
Caught Paula Cole and Lori McKenna last night at the Tupleo Music Hall in Londonderry, N.H.
Totally wowed by the performances. Lori McKenna, an awesome country/folk singer from Stoughton, Mass. opened the show. The chanteuse who’s worked with Faith Hill performed her vivid, witty, and usually tragic songs.
Despite the moodiness of the pieces, McKenna herself was [...]
If you need a break, this one’s for you:
When’s the last time you and your significant other were able to go and enjoy a nice meal with just the two of you? Finding a reliable babysitter isn’t always easy, and when you figure in babysitting costs, Date Nights can be discouraging. Imajine That and Salvatore’s [...]
Hi readers.
The internet was all atwitter this week, with news that Christian Bale signed on to “The Fighter.”
The film is set to star Mark Wahlberg as Mickey Ward, the famous Lowell boxer. Bale will play his half brother and trainer, according to Variety.
Does this mean the dynamic duo will be Lowell to film this summer? [...]
