Today, I am on Cape Ann in search of dog lovers. I am working on a story for our Cape Ann magazine about scenic spots you can take your dog to cavort.
Here, after Labor Day, you can take your dog to the beach. I wonder what the equivalent is here in Greater Lawrence, Mass.? Maybe a promenade around the common?

Mel Gibson in Merrimack Valley

Hi eager readers,

For those of you who saw yesterday’s paper, you know Mel is town shooting a movie.

According to my sources, the film will stage a car stunt from the the Rocks Village Bridge, between Haverhill and West Newbury (Massachusetts) next week. Somehow the car will end up in our beloved Merrimack River.

Apparently said bridge will be closed for filming. No word on when yet. Isn’t this exciting?

Yep, according to NBC Anthony Edwards will return to “ER” for a few episodes this year, for the series 15th and final season.

Since last we saw Dr. Greene, he was dead, these episodes will be “flashbacks.” Does that mean more hair? Will he look like he did in “Gotcha?”

I felt like something was missing in my life. Who new it was my Brenda and Kelly fix?

I absolutely loved the new “90210″ which premiered on the CW last night. Many had doubts about reinventing this sudser for the 21st century, but I think this version walked the line between a homage to the original and something interesting for the present.

I and yeah, I cheered when Nat and the Peach Pit appeared on screen.
