Sandi Bedrosian, local jazz singer, sent this photo of Alda’s visit to Serene. He’s surrounded here by his family, wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. His daughter lives locally in North Andover, Mass.

    I love Alan Alda spottings!
    Jim and I saw Alan Alda at a restaurant in Burlington maybe 5 years ago at a big table full of family. We couldn’t believe that nobody else seemed to recognize him or make a fuss, especially considering the name of the restaurant: Papa Razzi.

    I think it’s his lack of posse. If he had a posse, or looked less normal, I think people would fall over themselves.
