I think Ashley is doing a great job.
Basically, she had to prove she could dance (which she did) and then one of the judges praised her and in same breath called her dull.
The editor of CosmoGirl (who should know better) put her on the spot asking her what makes her unique.
With some warning, I feel like Ashley could have answered that, but having that question come out of the blue is unfair.
Of course, on the show the few seconds Ashley took to respond were counted down with an obnoxious "tick" making it seem longer. It was a little ridiculous.

I don't get the obsession with prom and prom queens. Maybe it's a girl thing. Whatever, no one watches ABC Family anyway.

I saw last week's but didn't get the chance to catch it tonight - fill me in! It feels a bit odd to watch judges pick apart girls this young from their looks to their personalities, but so far it seems fairly harmless. Our local rep seems to be doing a great job at staying on everyone's good side!
