A new era of Stars Wars entertainment begins this fall when “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” premieres on Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT. I guess this competition may be for you:
The first annual National College Comedy Competition, is looking for the country’s funniest college students with contests on 32 campuses across the county, including Boston College on Feb. 26. The regional semi-finals and a final competition will be in Aspen, Colo., May 24-27.
There are two categories, Stand-Up and Short Film.

Scouts for the Touchstone film “The Surrogates” (starring Bruce Willis) have been seen at Lawrence’s Pacific Mills and North Andover’s old Lucent building, now called Osgood Landing, eyeing possible spots to shot the film.
