A deal is in the works.

What does this mean for television?

Well, writers will be back to work this week, some series could return as early as March, though more likely April.

It’s unlikely scripted shows will run long into the summer, but there could be as many as eight new episodes created and aired before they break for the season.

Thank God.

What shows are you looking foward to the returning or continuing, the most?

Wow. That's like picking favorite children.
But if I had to pick my favorite children, I would pick Grey's Anatomy, House, Bones and my guilty pleasure, Gossip Girl.
I am way too old to watch anything on the CW, but I can't help it, I like it.

I love Grey's and House too, although I haven't seen Bones. I am so glad everythings is coming back. There is only so much "reality" TV (Tila Tequila, Rock of Love...) before you feel like your IQ is dropping considerably.

    When you're right, you're right.
Reality TV is here to stay, I personally try to avoid the worst of the train wrecks (like "Moment of Truth"). I don't want to be a part of someone humiliating themselves on national television for profit.

The NBC thursday night lineup, Office, Earl, 30 Rock, is really the only think I'm looking forward to, "24" isn't starting till January 2009. and the rest of Lost.

24 is a disappointment, but as someone aptly pointed out to me, if it came back now, it would be more like 8 before it broke for summer.
Though, it might be nice to see a season where Jack Bauer can work a regular day and get a good night's sleep for a change.
