“The Biggest Loser” will be in Boston casting its sixth season Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., at Felt in Downtown Crossing.

A deal is in the works.
What does this mean for television?
Well, writers will be back to work this week, some series could return as early as March, though more likely April.
It’s unlikely scripted shows will run long into the summer, but there could be as many as eight new episodes created and aired before they break for the season.
Thank God.
