Then again, maybe it's my latent psychic abilities finally kicking in --- and I should play the lottery this week. Mostly I was just disappointed that this was such a boring ceremony. I thought the highlight was Mickey Rooney hijacking the show for two and a half minutes, looking for "Miss Latifah." I had a feeling that Ruby Dee was going to win, just because she’d been out and about so much lately, she came into the ceremony with a lot of buzz.

I was so sure it was going to be Cate Blanchett for "I'm Not There". Bardem and Day-Lewis should pretty much have their speeches ready, they're the only true guaranteed winners this year at the Oscars.
