Morgan Spurlock, the documentarian who risked his life to show the dangers of fast food in “Super Size Me,” recently premiered his latest film at Sundance — “Where in the World is Osama bin Laden?”
Film reviews so far are mixed. Apparently Spurlock traveled the world looking for the terrorist, and then gave up when he got to the really dangerous areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
This is completely understandable — I don’t think anyone should risk their lives for my entertainment.
However, I admit, when I heard that I wrote this film off as a snooze.
Then I heard that this film has the BEST OPENING SEQUENCE EVER. “An animated bin Laden dancing to MC Hammer’s “You Can’t Touch This” (AP).
Therefore, I realized I must see this film as soon as humanly possible — or at least troll YouTube for the opening sequence regularly.
If anyone else sees it, I would love to hear what you think.
