A pretty good one is one tap tonight in North Andover with East Boston in for a 7 p.m. tipoff at the Crozier Fieldhouse.
Great test for the Knights, who have been without Colby Smith on the point the last few games, from what I’ve been told is an ankle injury.
Jimmy Warden is back however for a game that could tell a ton about where North Andover stands outside of the Cape Ann League.
At 8-2, what do we know about Division 1 Eastie.
The Jets have handed Maddy Park its only loss of the young campaign and have also stuck Charlestown, which just picked up its second defeat of the year to renowned hoop power St. Peter-Marian.
Both of Eastie’s losses are credible, to Holy Name of Worcester and Bishop Loughlin of New York.
My man Dan Ventura of the Herald said in the preseason, “East Boston will rely on double-double machine Kenny Ramos in the paint to go along with guards Zach Gattereau and Trevon Moore.”

Man, NA just can’t catch a break.  No Warden for a while.  Now no Smith.  No Collins yet or for the foreseeable future.  I would love to see them stack up against these d-1 teams like LHS, Eastie, AHS next week and in February, with an intact roster.  Tough to gauge them based on either the CAL, which is even weaker than normal it seems, and their injury status.

Still, you walk into your own gym with Karalis, Nelsen, Moroney, Warden, the Millers, etc., you have to be pretty good, right.???

I hear you Hec.  I just would love to see this team at full strength.  Likely NA’s deepest team in a long time.  Maybe for the tournament with Fitchburg and AHS in February.

Huge win for NA tonight.  A statement if you will.  Mr. Fazio was in attendance scouting as well.

That is a huge win for NAHS.  Really a very good team with all the parts needed to go far in this years tourney.

Very big win, and the news is promising on Colby Smith, who isn’t practicing but he’s working out and eyeing a return to practice next week.
great poise by NA all night. More in the Thursday Trib and right here during the day on Thursday.
