Just to get on the record, I’ll stick with Central to win the MVC large and Dracut in the MVC small, if anyone asks.
And, again, I’m sticking with my Knights in the CAL large, even with Masconomet’s opening week shellacking of Lowell.
Finally, in the CAL small, I don’t have a clue why they are still in the small, with the current 5-large, 7-small split.
But will take Newburyport to dominate there.

Who do you guys like in those races anyway???
Please let me know.

Type your comment here. You have been way off with all the teams you have picked. You picked N. Andover as your # 1 in your fab 4. How could you do this when methuen just made them look so bad. Enough with picking anyone from N.H.. N.H. teams are week and everyone knows this. Every team in M.V.C. is young and rebuilding and this is were Methuen has a to be your # 1 in your fab 4. Even if I feel this way I don't want to pick them because you have been so wrong.

I will go with Lawrence I believe they have more weapons than most.
little known fact, Most of these kids have been playing together since they where 9 years old in Pop Warner and hold 3 undefeated seasons and two MVC Championships together needless to say they know how to win.

Report card time for Andover Thursday night in Newell Stadium in Gloucester. Fishermen can run the ball and stop you from running it. Teams usually find out a lot more about themselves when they play GHS and their vaunted Wing T along the banks of the Annisquam River.

David97, Did you say the NH teams are weak? Get out of your shell and watch them play. Pinkerton plays with Brockton every year and last time I checked there is no Brockton in the "Mighty MVC". The last match-up between NH and the "Mighty MVC" was a non-playoff Div 2 Dover, NH team against Andover look up the results, and get a clue while your at it.

D.K. they play 1 game a year in Ma.. Let them try to play in Ma. week in and week out. N.H. teams have always been weak. Pinkerton plays Brockton once a year and all of N.H. lives by that one game. Pickerton is a C.C. of N.H.. They get players from all over N.H.. So chancers are they will put together a good team from time to time.

    Name,
You are clueless just like David97. Pinkerton can not get players from all over NH. They are not a private school. What makes the players a few miles over the border any better? Where do you get your info from about NH teams being weak? I watch games in both states there are not as many teams in NH, but it certainly compares to Mass. Your statement about Pinkerton putting a good team from time to time speaks of you knowledge about this topic. Pinkerton always has a good team, and would be at the top of the MVC every year, if you disagree with this then you are not watching the games. I trust Hector Longos opinion on this subject, he covers the games. Your just a yawho making stupid, uneducated comments

First of all H.L. so far has been totally wrong. Just look at his picks.
OK, please tell us all online how many towns and city kids total go to Pinkerton. And please don't tell us all pinkerton kids come from 1 city or town. P.S. Why are you so mad.

    Name,
Pinkerton students come from Derry, Hamstead, Chester, some of Auburn. The bulk of the talent obviously comes from Derry. I am proud of the football in NH, when I hear a blanket statement like all of NH is weak, it gets me going. If you go to some of the key games coming up I promise you will not be disappointed. (Salem/ Pinkerton) ( Nashua south/Salem) (BG/ Cath. Memorial) I know you would take interest in that match-up. It is not just Div 1 and Div 2 that are good. Souhegan in Div 3 is one of the best teams that I have seen this year. There problem is they are not going to be challenged down there and not get the respect. My point is the football in NH is just as good as Mass. If you watch both you will know.

Just to compare apples to apples, I will use Methuen as the example since this silliness started with them. The population of all three towns that attend Pinkerton (Derry, Hampstead, and Chester) is 43,668. The population of Methuen is 43,789, so essentially the same. Pinkerton would beat Methuen 8 years out of 10 if they played.

Stead, Please. Talk about silliness. And how do you know this. 8 out of 10. This debate could go on forever. But please don't say N.H. teams can compete week in and week out with the Ma. teams.
There something with N.H. teams that H.L. wants to put # 1 in his fab 4. Does he come from N.H..

What do you mean week in and week out? Are the athletes made different in mass. Just because you live in mass. your stronger and faster. Do you think NH teams don't have weight rooms? They don't prepare like the mass. players. How many NH football teams have you seen play? If the answer is 0 stop commenting. Pinkerton would beat Methuen 10 out of 10, I can say this because I have knowledge of the game, I have seen both teams play. You have not

now your talking like a you know what. Pickerton is like a c.c. of N.H.. Year in and year out they play weak teams from N.H.. And than they will play 1 tough team and that team is from Ma.. That 1 game means everything to all N.H. teams, win or lose because they play that 1 good team from Ma.. Look it's like basketball city kids playing outside of the city will always win. And in this case N.H. teams coming from small towns and play Pinketon don't have a chance and pickerton is the only team you can say can come to Ma. for 1 game a year and maybe win. But if they had to play Ma. teams every week pickerton would just be a avg. team. I have seen High school football in N.H. and in Ma. or I wouldn,t be commenting on the high school page.
