For the first time in our tenure here at The Eagle-Tribune I actually hold a lead on Dave Dyer in the high school football picks. Wow, I’m energized. I feel like a new man.
Dave went 4-2 and I sniffed out Keene over Londonderry to go 5-1 for a one-game lead after Week 1. Might as well be 100 games. I’m refreshed and ready.
Saw parts of the Salem win against Dover and the BG shmuckling of Pinkerton. Can’t say the latter was expected.
Pinkerton’s line looked a bit overwhelmed at times and the skill guys didn’t have much air to breathe. Chance to bounce back this week against Memorial.
Caught a couple quarters of a Central Catholic scrimmage with BC High Saturday morning and I hate to put pressure on the Raiders, but they looked sharp. BC High’s QB carved up the Raiders through the air, but Central matched up nicely on the ground.
