Just a reminder that the Hoops for Hope David Bradner Memorial boys tournament kicks off tonight at Andover High’s fieldhouse.
Here’s the opening night slate:

Bradner Tourney (all games at Andover High School)
First Round
Game 1 — Londonderry vs. Pinkerton, 6 p.m.; Game 2 — Timberlane at Greater Lawrence, 6 p.m.; Game 3 — Pelham vs. Methuen, 6 p.m.; Game 4 — North Andover vs. Salem, 7:15 p.m.; Game 5 — Pentucket vs. Dracut, 7:15 p.m.; Game 6 — Nashua vs. Methuen, 7:15 p.m.; Game 7 — Lowell vs. Lexington, 8:30 p.m.; Game 8 — Acton-Boxboro vs. Lawrence, 8:30 p.m.

Some fairly intriguing matchups on the board. Of course, a lot in summer hoops depends on who is available. If Pelham has Steve Spirou, the Methuen matchup should be a good one.
Timberlane-Reggies looks like a solid matchup. Londonderry-Pinkerton??? wow.
But the marquee game of the night is Salem-North Andover, so long as Alex BLane isn’t in street clothes and Matt Sifferlen is wearing high tops not flip flops.
Word out of Pinkerton has Zach Mathieu putting the cleats aside for the night on the hardwood … well rubberized surface.
The great thing about Hoops for Hope is the three games running at once, so if one gets ugly you can just slide down.
If all goes well today, we’ll toss in a report here tonight.
