Don’t have a ton of time here, just wanted to get the news out.
Andover qualifies for the state tourney and reaches the Lawrence Invitational with a 1-0, eight-inning walkoff win over North Andover.
William and Mary bound John Farrell comes up money, striking out 17 in the four-hit masterpiece.
Aaron Brunette deserved a better fate in the loss, matching Farrell pitch for pitch. The winning run reached on an error.
Jake Ponti’s single to right plated Dan Colombo for the win.
Outstanding game, now I’m off to Lawrence-Tewksbury, to see who the Warriors will play.
