First off, I checked in with Chip Dunn last night who confirmed all the hot gossip.
Awful break as both Taylor Robinson and Brendan Bretton won’t be able to pitch this spring due to offseason injuries.
For those of you who don’t follow this that closely, you’re talking the Hillies No. 1 and 2 starters, in a year when they were thin to start.
On the bright side, opportunities abound if there is any young talent in the system.
And now I’ll try to help if I can. Here’s a quick story:
About a year ago, i got conned into ESPN insider. Each month a $6.95 charge popped up on my credit card bill for the magazine and “Insider” stuff on the ESPN Website. I finally took two minutes to call ESPN and cancel. I just don’t use the service enough.
Long story short, when I went to cancel, they offered me the same service, $14 for a year … that is 70 bucks less than I was paying.
If you got hooked by the “network” like I did, make the call and act like you want to cancel. Hey, 70 bucks is 70 bucks, right?
One other thing, they have an automatic renewal after a year for $30. My advice is to tell them not to sign you up for that. surely, you can do better a year from now.
Don’t say I’m not looking out for my peeps!!!
