According to sources close to the school, longtime North Andover High assistant Mike Valentino has been named head baseball coach at Masconomet, replacing Joe Marchesi.
Valentino takes over one of the power programs in Division 2, a perennial power in the Cape Ann League.
He also assumes control at THE rival for his alma mater, North Andover.
