OK, let’s go through the three New Hampshire title tilts Saturday, one by one.

First, South at Pinkerton
Unlike the other two games where I have a strong opinion, I’ve been bouncing back and forth on this one all week.
South figures to be a handful, and it’s funny but you get the feeling a grass field might actualy help the Panthers, who play home games on the rubberized stuff.
Even without Eric Guinto, Pinkerton’s entire attack, on both sides of the ball, is based on speed.
If this was High School X with the same personnel, the choice would be South.
But it’s Pinkerton, with tradition and the top will to survive in the state.
The Astros have seemingly been fighting for their lives on a weekly basis since Mack Plaque weekend.
I’ll stick it out with them one more time.
Pinkerton 16, South 13

We’ll go to Division 5 next.
I might be one of the few stupid enough to make a pick against Pelham in this one but I will.
The reason, I like Jack MacNevin, the Saints QB who missed the regular season meeting. I also think Rod Wotton’s team, the second time around, will be exponentially tougher.
Nope, I like the upset.
STA 21, Pelham 14

Finally in D2 …
Bill Ball’s crew is always so prepared. And Guertin isn’t Guertin.
Exeter completed two passes last week, but it was enough to escape Timberlane with a win.
I’m just a believer here in what that program has done.
Blue Hawks 12, BG 10
