By the way, here’s my pick in Billerica-Dracut and why.

It’s not a game with any of our teams involved, but I wouldn’t be a sportswriter if I couldn’t shed an opinion on Billerica-Dracut.
As hinted at earlier, I’ll go with the Middies for two reasons.
1. Senior QB vs Frosh QB … As good as LaSpada is, and I’ve seen him, he’s Mike Mastrullo revisited when it comes to all the tools he brings to the field, you have to love experience.
2. This is it for Dracut … Billerica is a perennial MVC monster. The Indians reload. Dracut doesn’t have that luxury. This is a program that has muscled up the last five years in preparation for this season. This is their shot. It’s huge.
Dracut 37, Billerica 30.
