Sorry folks, I was away for the weekend, and what a weekend it was, shaking up the new Longo top 10.
My 11-6 was two games better than Dave Dyer’s 9-8, meaning his lead is slashed to 7 games.
My weekend picks will be up Thursday. For now, here we go.
OK, the updated Longo Top 10:
1. Pinkerton (5-1) … Boys, you carry the Rally North honor down to Brockton this week. Defend it well.
2. Pelham (5-0) … Brady slowed down the Boss, but the Pythons still TCB.
3. Georgetown (5-0) … Gritty, gutty, intense, huge victory over Amesbury.
4. Timberlane (4-2) … Dangerous team just got better.
5. Pentucket (4-1) … The last time someone scored against Pentucket Barack Obama was still a member of the Rev. Wright’s flock.
6. Methuen (3-3) … Great win vaults the Rangers upward.
7. Londonderry (4-2) … Two losses in a row, somebody’s character is being test. Time to buckle up boys.
8. Amesbury (4-1) … Like LSU after the loss to Florida, there’s still time for the Indians to bounce back up the scale.
9. Andover (2-3) … When I figure out the Warriors, who knocked off Tewks, I’ll give you a call.
10. Whittier Tech (4-1) … Bradley’s boys of the CAC crack the top 10, but Manchester and Shawsheen lie ahead.

Andover 2-3, Whittier 4-1,
