Fellas, Fellas, Fellas.
There was an ugly-looking comment, previously on this site, that had to be removed.
The initials from the sender were “RD.” Let me say for the record, that as soon as Coach Drouin saw this, he called and notified me of the comment. It was not him. And I immediately took it down.
Fellas, this is not a site to attack anyone. It’s an attempt to discuss high school sports.
I’m not saying we can’t be a little negative or talk about controversy, but no personal attacks will be tolerated.
If Coach X doesn’t bunt when he should and it costs his club the big one, sure let’s discuss it. But not something that goes after a man’s integrity.
So keep it fun, keep it interesting. And let’s show a little good taste.

I never once though Ronnie wrote that comment.

I know that you want to talk baseball but I have to vent a little bit about your paper's decision on Boy's Basketball Coach of the year. I'm sure Coach McVeigh had a nice season and overachieved but how can you honestly look past Rick Nault of Central Catholic HIgh SChool. Yes, I am biased Central parent who's son plays for Coach Nault. Have even thought about what this team has gone through. The death of Ryan Bourque alone would make most teams just fall apart. The suspenisons of 2 key players and 8 missed games due to injury by their 2 leading scorers Adrian Gonzalez and Billy Marsden. Take all of this and throw in the fact they won the state championship and this was a no brainer. I just don't understand the decision that's all.

Central was supposed to be good ... NA wasn't.

    Jason,

Please know what you are talking about before you make a comment. First of all, John McVeigh is the coach at Brooks (not North Andover) and he is the one who was named coach of the year. Did he have a good year ? Yes! But there is no way he should have won this award.

Was Central expected to be good? Yes! but there is a big difference between being good and winning the state championship. Factor in all that happened with Central this season and Nault should easily have been named coach of the year.

    Yeehaaa...Another Small School Title!!!

In the spirit of competition, it's time for Ronnie to demand his Dynasty move up to a big boy schedule.
