Just a tough night all-around for the andover girls, who picked the wrong time for a poor shooting performance. Gritty performance to the end. More numbers in a bit.
Andover sliced its to six and had momentum at 31-25, until Alannah Driscoll-Sbar stepped up for the Blue Devils. The athletic 6-0 junior scored eight straight to close out the quarter, setting up the fourth with N’hampton up 39-25.

The Warriors don’t look like themselves. The flow is missing in the offensive end, and it shows. Defense and scrappiness have kept them in it, so far, as the deficit is eight. Northampton’s defense in the second quarter really hurt the Warriors of Andover, who unleashed three air balls in the frame. Andover finally broke through with its first points of the second quarter almost four minutes into it, a Laura Renfro runner. We’ll have halftime numbers in a minute.

The MIAA might have said 5:45, but this one tapped about six minutes early. It was merely a sparring session between two good teams with no real flow to the game yet. Andover ball to start the second.
A little technical glitch overcome, Andover-Northampton is now under way, and the driscoll-Sbar girl from looks legit, folks.
Mike Kimball doing it all with 17 points, 6 rebs, 6 assists. Josh Jones 11 points and Shawn Stoodley 9 points and 8 assists. Ryan bourgeois effectively drawing fouls and leads Trinity with 16 points. Will Salem tire? Blue Devils have used only 6 players.
