Stys missed a jumper (Kimball may have got a finger on it). Jones just hit a pair of free throws with 10.2 left to push the Salem lead up to 46-42. No points all night, and two clutch swishes at the charity stripe. Strange but true…
Salem just turned the ball over. This place is rocking. Manchester Central has the ball with 22.0 seconds left. Quick shot? Last-second heave? We’ll find out soon enough.
Michael Stys’ three just capped an 8-2 run to cut the Salem lead to 44-42. The Little Green actually had a chance to tie it, but Josh Frederico drew a charge and the Blue Devils have the ball now.
A Kimball trey and two Kimball free throws just pushed the Salem lead back up to 42-34. Under six minutes to go here in the fourth.
After three quarters, it’s Salem 37, Manchester Central 34. The Blue Devils outscored the Little Green 17-8 in the quarter. Central, after falling behind 37-30, just scored two quick baskets to cut the lead to three. Mike Kimball has been huge for Salem. He had seven points in the third.
Mike Kimball’s pair of free throws give Salem a 31-30 lead at 2:16 in the third quarter. That makes it an 11-4 run to stat the second half.
