Golden Warriors win it, check back for more updates.
With 2:58 left in the fourth, Andover is in control, leading 56-34. Nothing has really hampered the Golden Warriors tonight. New Bedford shot 5 for 27 in the first half, which helped, but give the Warriors credit. The Andover contingent of fans was moderate, but New Bedford’s crowd lacked oomph…maybe it was the lopsided score [...]
At the half, Andover leads 32-14. Meghan Thomann leads all scorers with nine points. Laura Renfro has eight. Lauren Hughes is cleaning up on the glass with six rebounds. The Golden Warriors are also leading the turnover battle (9-5). Andover, quite frankly, is dominating. We’ll see what happens in the second half.
After one quarter, it’s Andover 22, New Bedford 8. Laura Renfro scored eight points in the first. One surprise, freshman Natalie Gomez-Martinez didn’t start, but entered about four minutes into the game. She picked up two quick fouls, however, and came out after about a minute. The Golden Warriors have had no problems with the [...]

With 1:54 remaining, Kirsten Daamen limped off the floor with an apparent left leg injury. She looked to be in pain while trainers attended to her. She had one heck of an afternoon, finishing with 16 rebounds. Time is running out on the Sachems. The Archies are up 55-47 with 47.7 seconds remaining.
3:08 left in the fourth. The Archies are clinging to a 51-47 lead. Pentucket actually had a 46-45 lead with 5:20 remaining.
Pentucket is still hanging in here. Ashley Viselli just stuck a trey (at the buzzer) to cut the Archies’ lead to 43-39 with one quarter to play. The sophomore has been sensational in the second half.
The Sachems are right back in it. Erin McNamara’s outside shooting (three 3-pointers) has been key. Her trey tied the game at 20 with 1:54 remaining. Kirsten Daamen has once again been immense. She has 11 boards so far.
