Methuen High swimming star Laura Moriarty must feel like a top basketball or football recruit these days.
The senior has made some impressive official visits. Last weekend, she was at Notre Dame, where she attended the Irish-Boston College football game.
“She didn’t know who to pull for,” Methuen swimming coach Jason Smith said with a laugh.
She’s also visited North Carolina and Tennessee. Ivy League power Harvard is still in the mix, Smith said.
“She’s gotten to see some wonderful places,” Smith said. “I told her she just needs to take her time and make the right decision. In the end, she’s going to get a great education where ever she goes.”
