First off, an earlier post had Edwin Norgaisse back at Haverhill for his junior year. Colleague Dave Dyer’s story on Bob Walsh’s resignation noted Norgaisse as transferring to prep school.
That said, the Haverhill job is still one of the better jobs in the MVC, with city kids who love hoop.
Talked to a friend who through out a great name, that absolutely fits the position.
How about Scott Hazelton?
At last look, Hazelton was off in the pro leagues of Europe after yet another successful summer camp.
Here’s a young, aspiring teacher/coach looking to build a program for himself. He’d be in it for the long haul with tremendous competitive juices and desire to succeed.
There’s a lot of Paul Neal in Hazelton, starting with their competitive natures.
And Neal’s job at LHS is worthy of a movie script. Could Hazelton be the guy that drives the Hillies back to prominence?
Again, all we have from Hazelton is his will to be a high school teacher/coach. So, a lot is conjecture, but the situation will be quite interesting.

Hopely they hire Scott, it's awesome when your coach can physically teach you what he means when explaining a move or a play and Scott can do both. That's what is great about playing basketball for Paul Neal, you know that the best basketball player on the court is not one of the players on the team but the coach and as player you always want to be better than your coach, that will be a tough task to be better than Scott or Neal. If Scott want the job he should definately get it because he will get the good players from Haverhill to attend to the school.

So what's the real word on Haverhill Basketball...Who is in the running for the head B-Ball coach and also...........Has Edwin Norgaisse returned to Haverhill High or is he at a prep school/....unclear to this...

Being good at a sport doesn't make someone a role model...and if S.H.'s high school/college days are any indication, he is not one.
