I am writing to see if you would have an interest in writing an article on an upcoming fundraiser that we are hosting to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This will be our 2nd annual Prostate Cancer Foundation fundraiser and looking forward to raising double the funds we raised last year.
A little more on the event:
North Shore CrossFit will be hosting its 2nd annual Prostate Cancer Foundation Fundraiser entitled “Fight Gone Bad II” on Saturday, September 29, 2007 beginning at 11 a.m. at their 94 Central Street, Topsfield, Massachusetts location.
In 2006, hundreds of athletes in 30 centers nationally raised nearly $110,000 to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) by competing individually and as part of teams on one day in “Fight Gone Bad,” one of the most demanding workout routines in the popular CrossFit exercise regimen.
On September 29, 2007, affiliate centers across the country will have their registered participants complete Fight Gone Bad. This year’s goal is to raise $250,000 in one day, making “Fight Gone Bad” a very important milestone for each man whose fight truly has gone bad.
We would like to have either you or someone else come to our facility the day of the event to experience this incredible event first hand. Would you have any interest?
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Dave & Tara Picardy

Hello Dave and readers,
I am getting very discouraged with EPA and OSHA and their determinations on what is Energy Star Seal. I have been fighting for this Seal for my clients and future clients for about 3 years+. This is a great story!!
The information has been done! It is proven that sticking with your old wood windows proves to be as much as 7 times cheaper to keep them rather than going with replacement windows. Also a good storm window will do the same thing as a replacement window for 1/3 the cost!!! ASTONISHING!!
All this information has been documented and printed in This Old House magazine, kind of bitting the hand that feeds them. The replacement window companies are BIG sponsors of TOH but they have told the TRUTH if you look hard enough. I have compiled so much information on the TRUTH about windows that I am in proccess of doing a documentory about them, “A BIT MORE INCONVENIENT TRUTH”
One of the reasons that these windows have STOOD THE TEST OF TIME is the growth lumber used. First growth lumber was very dense about 30-35 growth ring per inch. Todays lumber is quickly grown and harvested yielding 5-7 growth rings per inch. Homes that are 50+ years of age will have the old wood, so if you put in replacement windows in a home older than 50 years, you have DE-VALUED this building. YIKES!
And everyone knows that many European countries have banned the use of VINYL WINDOWS because they are 1000 times more TOXIC than lead paint poisoning. (well now you know.) Let’s stop the distruction of these Homes and building so generations to come can enjoy the superb craftmanship that was left to us 200 years ago. I have put a 100 year garentee on these windows after my service because,
THEY HAVE STOOD THE TEST OF TIME.
The Best Windows that money CAN’T BUY..
This is my way of fighting what is wrong, by revealing the Truth and talking about the deceptions from the major window Industries.
