If you have an opinion about what the News covers — and what it doesn’t — now’s the time to step forward.
We have a few openings on our Reader Advisory Board. The board’s purpose is to help keep the editorial staff in touch with the issues that matter in the communities we cover. The board meets monthly to discuss current, local events and suggest topics for editorial comment, columns and news coverage.
We’re seeking people with broad ranges of interest. We want people who are interested in all aspects of the communities in which they live — schools, government, taxation, public services, housing and the like.
Meetings are generally held the last Tuesday of the month, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Here’s how to apply:
Write an essay of up to 500 words on this topic: “The biggest challenge facing my community is…”
Include a cover letter with your essay that includes your name, address, age, occupation and day and evening telephone numbers.
E-mail them to dolson@ecnnews.com. Please include the words “Reader Advisory Board” in the subject line.

The word is spreading. A Veterans medical care can not be a political weapon for any one’s revenge. I write these letters and even though the news media refuses to print them, Blogs get the word out. The Boston Globe blog, USA today, La Times and many more. NH Insider and the MY Fox 25 Boston are the only blogs to censor my letters. The news media can not believe these letters are libelous. The people involved from President Bush down to Judge Peter Fauver committed or ignored Constitutional crimes to intentionally harm U.S. Citizens. My letters state publicly these crimes many times.
I volunteer to help a Madbury NH family that read my letter to the editor. Judge Fauver violates the Constitution many times to protect the Madbury selectmen. The selectmen do not deny under oath to using government powers to seek revenge on local residents the selectmen want out of Madbury. To stop my volunteer help the governor uses the NH state police to scare my wife at work and home. NH gets so desperate NH Congress woman Shea-Porter files false police reports to get me jailed. Dover police file 7002-942. The Dover and Lee police refuse to allow me to file a complaint. She has VA Dr. Biswas file an involuntary commitment order to have me locked up. When all of NH’s criminal efforts fail NH VA director Mark Levenston stops my VA medical. The NH supreme court refused to hear a case that questioned the integrity of the NH judicial branch of government. (case 2003-0477)
I have amnesia from my first injury in the Marine Corps. I remember nothing prior to my 17 birthday. I was injured twice more in separate combat support missions. I survived 8 convoys as an American Advisor. I killed deep in the jungle to stop what NH is doing to this Madbury NH family from ever happening in the United States. Now to stop me my medical has been stopped. It has been 6 months. I do owe a thank you to Dr. Dan Potenza. He has devised a way to sneak me in the back door for treatment. I question weather this is just a ploy to tell the news that I am receiving treatment. I must drive many miles and get an armed guard to escort me in the hospital. The fact is that a 100% service connected disabled veterans medical has been stopped for political reasons and no one cares. The VFW, American Legion, news media, NH Senators Gregg or Sununu and the list goes on. Do you know why Veterans commit suicide, because what we did, lived and survived through just does not seem worth it when we return to the “World”. Veterans give their lives for equal enforcement of the law to all. We did not do it so a special class of society can control others. This letter may sound to fantastic to conceive as truth, but when this special class of society can use a disabled veterans health as a weapon and you the public do not care it just is not worth it any more. This letter or any letter that I write is not threatening. The special class may think it is. I have violated no laws. I gave my life to this country as a United States Marine. You refuse to stop the torture the state of NH is inflicting on this volunteer whom help others to make this country better. I tell those that don’t believe the facts so day it will be you the special class dominates. Send this letter to NH governor at John.lynch@nh.gov Then you know that this is a public document.
