Alan Siegel grew up in Lynnfield, Mass., during the halcyon days of Sherman Douglas, Dino Radja and Dee Brown.
He attended George Washington University (Red Auerbach’s alma mater), where he studied journalism and was the sports editor at the GW Hatchet, the campus paper.
Shortly after graduating in 2005, he was hired at The Eagle-Tribune. Since then, covered everything from high school soccer and basketball to last January’s AFC Championship Game and the 2007 World Series.
