Paul Pierce hit a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer to tie the score at 21 at the end of the first quarter.

Despite shooting 36 percent in the first, Boston is hanging around. Chris Paul’s looked sharper than Rajon Rondo so far, but it’s early.
