The Greg Oden-Kendrick Perkins clash is going to be a good one all night. Oden’s looked good so far. He’s 2 for 3 with a monster dunk — although his decision to hang on the rim was foolish. He was just teed up. Wonder if Perk whispered “ROOKIE!” in his ear. Or something else we can’t print.
Portland’s up 14-11 at 5:42 in the first quarter. Ray Allen’s been guarding Brandon Roy so far. Roy already beat him once baseline for a jam. Roy’s going to be a tough cover. That’s a matchup worth watching too.
