Apparently, Allen Iverson’s absence at Pistons practice was the topic of conversation at Ray Allen’s home yesterday.
“People at my house were assuming it was the day before (Thanksgiving),” he said. Nope, A.I. missed practice on Thanksgiving.
Ray Allen was just happy he didn’t have to be on the court. It’d be one of those days where he’d be hanging his head.
“We didn’t have practice,” he said, forming a sly smile. “All of us were thankful for that.”
If the Celtics were 2-14, we’d be calling Doc Rivers a pushover. Now we call him savvy. Being the champs has its benefits.
