Oh Randolph…

Boston finally woke up. Kevin Garnett’s vicious alley-oop dunk over Randolph Morris Rajon Rondo threw a pretty pass to set it up — and subsequent free throw capped a 22-6 run and gave Boston a 51-50 lead with 17.6 seconds remaining in the quarter. KG said something to Morris after. I’m sure it was profanity free.

A Mario West free throw tied it at 51 and Eddie House’s long trey bounced off the rim as time expired.

Nice comeback for sure, but again, Atlanta shot 45.7 percent and scored 51 points. No sunshine from Doc now.

Ray Allen was outstanding on offense, scoring a game-high 15 on 5 for 9 shooting in the first half. His long-range bombs aren’t falling often, but he’s been taking the ball to the basket with confidence. Nice to see.

Coach Willie May’s leading some sort of contest on the floor at the moment. I want a cool green and white headband like he has.
