Fans are pouring in already. Like true Bostonians, the majority of them are sporting fancy new merchandise. Plenty of 2008 NBA championship T-Shirts and hats around.
Got a look at the special edition jerseys. Traditional white. Green letters and numbers with gold trim and a patch to mark the occasion. It’s similar to what the Red Sox did after the 2004 World Series. Classy.
The sneakers strewn about the locker room were a bit more ornate, but very cool. Gold and green Nike Hyperdunks that look like they’ve been spray painted. Paul Pierce has his own commemorative shoe as well. Those are white, gold and green.
